Essentially, any text or images you see on the demo website can be edited freely by you at any time. We’re keen to ensure that you’re able to edit and add as much as content as possible – this includes:
- Home page text & images
- About page text & images
- Sectors
- Capabilities
- Services
- Equipment
- Case studies
- Team Members
- Careers
- Vacancies
- Resources (inc. downloads)
- News stories
- Blog posts
- Terms & Conditions
The only exceptions with respect to making changes yourself is the structure of the website (i.e. adding or removing sections). This is because we want to ensure that you’re protected from making a change which could compromise the website or cause it to crash.
However, we’re more than happy to help you quickly make these type of changes during the initial development of your website or in the future, for which we’ll only charge our standard hourly maintenance fee.
Absolutely.
During our initial discussions we’ll agree what you’re prepared to do yourself (e.g. taking photos or generating text), and what you would prefer we handle.
Whilst handing over the entire website development process to us will cost a little more, you can rest assured that, as engineers ourselves, we’ll work to understand your business intimately to develop a website which will do your business proud.
Whilst nearly all of the text and images can be freely edited by yourselves, the website’s design is locked to prevent you making a change which could cause it to not function correctly or crash.
However, we’re more than happy to discuss changes with you and provide an upfront, fixed price to make the amends.
optional services & costs
Initial Discussions
During our initial discussions, we’ll agree what aspects of the demo website you want to keep or remove. We don’t charge additional fees if you simply want to remove features.
If, during our initial discussions, you believe that additional content would be benefitial (e.g. a product explainer page), we’ll provide a fixed price for the additional work for you to consider.
Post-Launch
If at a later stage you want the website to have more features, pages, or amendments made, we’ll also provide you a fixed price for the additional work to consider.
We’re always keen to provide value-for-money, so rest assured that we’ll work with you to maximise your budget to the best of our ability.
We’re capable of providing photography and videography in a range of different ways. From aerial shots of your business using a drone, to interviews and post-production in a variety of formats for use on websites and social media.

Maintenance, support & hosting
In order to ensure the website performs optimally, we use a number of different software applications and packages. These include:
- Website hosting
- Daily website backups
- SSL Certificates
- Security software
- Website functionality software
Our Basic Hosting Package is £349 per year. If you choose our Managed Hosting Package, all the benefits and cost of the Basic Hosting Package is included, plus many other benefits.
Whilst we’re able to review your website’s configuration on a yearly basis (upon your annual Hosting Package renewal) to ensure it’s functioning correctly, ongoing website maintenance requires an additional monthly fee.

In order to help prevent website downtime, we turn off automatic updates.
Whilst this prevents the vast amount of issues typically experienced by websites, there are some occasions where web configurations require updating to prevent security loopholes or search engine conflicts.
As such, where reactive maintenance is required to your website at short notice, we charge £35 per hour during our working hours and £60 per hour outside of our normal working hours.
